Fall is officially upon us, and that means hot apple cider, pumpkin carving, and hayrides are just around the corner! In Warren, New Jersey, we're especially lucky this time of year: Our region of the state is packed with opportunities for getting out and experiencing the autumn harvest firsthand!

A long list of fun fall activities awaits on this 85-acre farm! A corn maze (plus a smaller one for toddlers), hay maze, hayrides, farm animals, pumpkins and fall decorations are all available for your enjoyment!
Open every weekend in October, Grochowicz Farms is home to some top-notch fall fun! A 6-acre corn maze, a junior corn maze, an educational hayride to meet the cows, farm animals, a corn pit, ball pit, tricycle track, pumpkins, gourmet pies, cider donuts, apple dumplings, and more are all available.
Things get spooky this time of year at Schaefer Farms! Their Frightfest includes a "hair-raising hayride through 200 acres of fright," a walk through a scary graveyard, and more. But for something a little more family-friendly, they have lots of autumn-themed activities! You can choose from a scenic hayride, 40+ acres of pumpkins to choose from, farm animals, a corn cannon, corn maze, and lots of seasonal decor and yummy fall treats.
4. Ort Farms
Open from now until November 2nd, Ort Farms is packed with a truly impressive selection of fall activities! Head over to this farm to pick your own pumpkins, visit the corn maze, meet farm animals, and go on train rides, pony rides, and monster truck rides. Ort Farms even has an apple cannon, and a farm store that's filled with a variety of pumpkin-flavored items, fresh, local apple cider, squash, pies, and much more.
Known for their delicious fresh-pressed cider, Hacklebarney Farm Cider Mill is a popular spot for those looking for mouthwatering fall treats. Fresh homemade pies, wood-pressed apple cider, fresh cider donuts and more all await! (Fun fact: Their farm store is in a barn from the 1850s!)
From a giant corn maze and harvest moon hayrides to picking your own apples and taking a tour of the Cider Mill, Alstede Farms has a little something for everyone. A highlight is definitely their Cider Mill where you can see how they press apples and make homemade cider!
Famous for their cornfield mazes, Doyle's Unami Farms in Hillsborough features tons of fall activities for the whole family. A scenic hayride, farm animals, a pumpkin patch, scarecrow building, and a farm store with many seasonal offerings all await to help you get in the mood for autumn!
The Fall Festival is an amazing time of year at Norz Hill Farm! They offer hayrides, pony rides, a corn maze, farm tours that show off their farm animals, and over 75 varieties of pumpkins, gourds and squash are available to choose from.
Every weekend from now through the end of October, Terhune Orchard hosts Fall Family Fun weekends. Pick-your-own apples and pumpkins, wagon and pony rides, a corn maze, hay maze, farm animals, face and pumpkin painting, live music, and lots of delicious seasonal food are all available!
10. Hillsboro Farm
Open on weekends through Halloween, Fall Family Fun Days at Hillsboro Farm is not to be missed! This dynamic farm offers all kinds of autumn-themed activities, including scarecrow-making, face-painting, pumpkin decorating, a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayrides and more!
11. Ripple Hill Farm
A small family-owned and operated farm, Ripple Hill Farm has been growing produce for over 50 years. You can visit this farm on Sundays in the fall for pick-your-own apples, and you can check out their fresh produce while you're at it! You can also pick up pumpkins from their farmstand on Sundays.
12. Wightman's Farms
For 80+ years, the Wightman's have been running their beautiful farm in Morristown. If you're interested in picking your own apples, you can become a part of their membership club (it's only $15 to join!). This time of year, the Wightman's Farms also offers a corn maze, pumpkin sling shot, hayrides, farm tours, and one of the largest pumpkin displays in New Jersey! Plus, their farm store is packed with fresh cider, produce, local honey, baked goods, and more.
With a focus on delivering high-quality local produce, Malanga Farm Market is an excellent Warren resource for fresh food all year long. During fall, tons of pumpkins, gourds, squash, apples, and more seasonal offerings fill the market.
14. Suydam Farms
In operation since 1713, this Suydam Farms has been growing produce and raising animals for an impressive 13 generations. During the month of October, this historic farm offers pumpkin picking, hayrides, and of course, their farm store that's always stocked with seasonal produce.
15. Hillview Farms
This pick-your-own farm offers a fun way to get the whole family involved in harvesting food! During October, Hillview Farms has hayrides each weekend that travel through the farm to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard so you can pick your very own fall treats.

This 600-acre farm's Fall Fest is packed with autumn traditions and attractions: pick pumpkins, go on a hayride or ride the cow train, try out their pumpkin launchers and bounce pillow, and explore the corn maze! Their impressive spread also includes fresh ice cream from their dairy cows and a farm market with fresh produce.

Established in 1904, this community staple is stocked with fall-fresh produce and more! Pumpkins, corn stalks, fresh apple cider, scarecrows, hay bales, Halloween decor and more are ready to help you get in the fall mood.
