1. Advanced Horse Care Workshops at Lord Stirling Stable

When: March 10. 10:00am

Where: 256 South Maple Avenue, Basking Ridge

Fee: $60 for Somerset and $90 for non-residents

Come, enjoy and gain knowledge at the fun-filled-academic event the Winter Horse Care Workshops 102 and 103. Advanced topics including nutrition, clipping, bandaging, care and management skills, and basic conformation will be explored, as well as the important roles of the farrier and veterinarian play in a horse's life will be discussed. 

2. Fourth Annual NJ Makers Day at Bernardsville Library

When: March 10, 10 am

Where: 1 Anderson Hill Road, Bernardsville

Take part at Bernardsville Public Library on the 4th Annual New Jersey Makers Day. The state offers hands-on programming opportunities, demonstrations and displays celebrating the maker culture. Children and Adult workshops will also be in this year's event. For adults, there will be a workshop to make hand-crafted, scented soap at 10:00 am.  Participants will take a bar of sweet smelling soap home with them. 

3. Dogs Love Their Walks on the Lord Stirling Stable Trails

When: March 10, 10:15 am check-in time

Where: 256 South Maple Avenue, Basking Ridge

Fee: $3 per dog

Come enjoy explore the beautiful equestrian trails of Lord Stirling Stable and spend the day with your best pal! 

4. Motion & Meditation at YogaSutra

When: Saturday 10:15 am

Where: 524 Westfield Ave, Westfield

Get relaxed and stress-free with this beginner friendly Yoga class where physical emotional and stress complaints are addressed directly! Motion & Meditation is composed of specific breathing exercises, yoga postures, and guided meditation. 

5. Free Alcohol Treatment

When: March 11, 2:30 pm

Where: Warren, for more information contact 848-932

Rutgers School Of Public Health's Alcohol addiction treatment. The free alcohol treatment will come with individual therapy sessions at no cost to you and an extensive evaluation.

6. NJ Audubon: Invasive Plants: Problem, Identification and Control

When: March 10, 1:00 pm

Where: 11 Hardscrabble Rd, Bernardsville, Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary

Fee: Free for members; $5 non-members.

Mike Van Clef will review which plants are on the "most wanted" invasive list in our community, join him as he explains on how invasive wildlife depends and some invasive harbor ticks that might be growing in your yard and why they are detrimental to our local habitats. 

7. Songs My Mother Taught Me

When: March 11, 3:00pm

Where: Congregation Beth Hatikvah, 36 Chatham Road, Summit, NJ Summit

Enjoy Free music from renowned artists from New Jersey Summit, of Eastern European Music, Slavic, and Jewish Heritage!

8. Volunteer Fair

When: March 10, 1:00pm

Where: Summit Free Public Library, 75 Maple Street, Summit 

Lend a hand to the community. Join the volunteer fair this weekend and find out where you can make your own brand of difference. Choose to see where you can help best at a variety of Summit-based organizations.  

9. Spring/Easter Pet Photo Fundraiser

When: March 11, 11:00am

Where: 465 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights

Fee: $25.00

Your furbaby is a star! Join Jennifer Mount Photography for a 5-7 minutes Spring/Easter mini photo session fundraiser to benefit Home For Good Dog Rescue in Berkeley Heights. Options include pet portraits, children (with or without a pet) or family portraits. All proceeds will support Home for Good in saving the lives of so many deserving dogs. 

10. All Levels Yoga at YogaSutra

When: March 11, 9:15 am

Where: 524 Westfield Ave
