1. NJ Audubon: Digital Photography Workshop 5

The Berkeley Heights YMCA along with The Blood Bank of the Atlantic Health System will be hosting a blood drive this weekend. Donate blood and save a life. You will feel better because of it.

4. NJDTE Company Auditions

The popularly known school for dance and the NJDTE gets young ballet dancers ready for a bigger stage. Have you dreamt of dancing as a profession? Then this weekend, head on out to Summit for auditions that are open for to join this elite class of graceful dancers. 5. Cursive Handwriting Course with Westfield Historical Society

With today's new age of computer and smartphone users, people are learning less and less of the beauty of handwriting letters and cards. Help bring back the beauty of cursive writing and join an 8-class workshop on the subject where anyone (3rd grade and above) will learn the art of cursive writing. Don't let the tradition of handwriting documents die and keep this skill alive.

6. MLK's Legacy Reconsidered

In anticipation of the upcoming commemoration of one of the greatest leaders to grace the world, Congregation Beth Hatikvah will be hosting a morning of thought and ponder on the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. The discussion will revolve around the work and impact of the good doctor and how it relates to the present times we live in.

7. Intro to Square Foot Gardening

Been dreaming of having your own garden? Or perhaps you've been planning on switching it up and redesigning your garden. Either way, the perfect weekend activity for you can be found at the Reeve-Reed Arboretum. This weekend, an adult participant will not only learn the basic principles of growing a thriving garden, they will also learn a square foot gardening method that is fast gaining popularity.

8. Red Cross Blood Drive

One of the noblest things we can do in this lifetime is to help people in ways that we can. Take part in the bigger picture in healing the world one person at a time and donate blood. Make an appointment and be sure to show up on a full stomach. Those who donate blood will be getting a thank you in the form of a Dunkin Donuts gift card.

9. New Moon Celebration + Healing Gong
