1. The Inner Ear: Hearing and Balance

This weekend sit in for a free presentation as a physical therapist, Dina Leyden explains how disorders affect our hearing ability. She will be discussing and demonstrating vestibular therapy and how these exercises work to improve balance. 3. Late Stage Alzheimer’s Disease: An Intensive for Caregivers

4. Madden 18 Tournament

5. X-Country Ski Instruction

When: Jan 6, 1:30 pm

Where:  Environmental Education Center, 190 Lord Stirling Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920

The SCPC is offering up introduction lessons on Cross Country Skiing. Come over to the Environmental Education Center for the Naturalist-led program when participants get an early start for the skiing season. Program discussions will include proper clothing, equipment, safety procedures and ski sites. Get ski-ready and start your instruction this weekend!

6. Saturday Science Program for Ages 5 to 8

The River Rats is a science and nature learning adventure for children between the ages of 5 to 8 years old and this weekend, registrants are prepping up for an exciting weekend of hiking through the woods. Participants will be able to enjoy the beauty of nature and the changes of the season as they interact with animals, create crafts and go on an exploration of the Great Swamp. 

7. Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Somerset Hills Sunday Service

9. NJ Audubon: Winter Animal Signs

Where: Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary, 11 Hardscrabble Rd, Bernardsville, NJ 07924

15 children will get the rare opportunity of sighting animals tracks in the winter snow this weekend. This special program will be focused on how animals cope during the long winter months. Dress for the occasion and be sure to register before you head on out to the Wildlife Sanctuary. 

10. Paintings by Claudia Slater on Exhibit at Bernardsville Library

Be inspired and mesmerized by the talent of local resident artist Claudia Slater this weekend at the Bernardsville Public Library. On exhibit is the fine works of Ms. Slater which consist of portraits, flowers, and fantasy artwork. See her delicate work which captures the serenity and intricacy of her subjects.
