Your Guide to Central New Jersey Farmers Markets

Located at Railroad Plaza, South of Fairmount Avenue in Chatham Borough, NJ, this farmers’ market takes place on Saturdays from 8am - 1pm from June 17th through November 18th. You can find updates on their Facebook page!
Located at the Borough Hall Parking Lot, this weekly farmers market takes place on Wednesdays, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. from the 3rd Week in June through October. Check out their Facebook page for updates!
Located on Central Avenue between Cook Avenue and Main Street in Madison, New Jersey, the Madison Farmers’ Market takes place on Thursdays, 2-7pm from June 1st through October 26th, 2017. You can see a complete list of vendors and an event map here!
Located at 1112 Dukes Parkway West, Hillsborough, NJ 08844 the Duke Farms Farm to Table Market offers an incredible selection of locally grown produce, homemade goods, plants, and much more. This market takes places on Thursday afternoons and runs May through November 2017.

Specializing in New Jersey produce, Malanga Farms offers a wide range of products in addition to fresh vegetables! Find flowers, plants, jams, jellies, made-in-NJ tomato sauce, chips, chocolates, strudel, donuts, and more.

Bardy Farms in Warren has been around since 1904, and they have a huge selection of products! Not only do they sell fresh fruits and veggies, but they also sell plants, flowers, hanging baskets, fresh baked pies, fresh bread, cider donuts, cheese, milk, jellies, apple cider, meats, cheeses, and more.

This nonprofit works to “to enrich, educate and inspire the community by increasing environmental awareness and recreational opportunities.” You can take classes, or contribute to caring for the gardens. They also host a farmers market at the Warren Municipal Complex on Thursdays 2-7pm, June 16 - September 29. (Fun fact: They grow 10,000+ pounds of produce each year for the food bank!)

Duke Farms offers a scenic setting that’s brimming with activities! From biking and hiking trails and learning how to organic garden to geocaching and visiting the Duke Farms Farm to Table Market, there’s something for all ages and interests!

Known especially for their apples and pick-your-own apple orchard, Ripple Hill Farm also sells produce like peaches, tomatoes, peppers and grapes. Take a look at their seasonal produce calendar here.

Established in 1725, Melick’s Town Farm is a local tradition. Depending on what you’re interested in, Melick’s Town Farm has a few different locations that each specialize in something different.
You can visit their Oldwick Farm Market and pick up plants and shrubs, seasonal fruits and veggies, their homemade wine, holiday decorations, baked goods and more. In the mood to get out and do it yourself? Check out Melick’s Califon Orchards where you can pick-your-own peaches, apples, or pumpkins depending on the season. The Cider Mill & Orchard boasts pick-your-own apples, hayrides and pumpkins in September and October, and a working cider press.
