Cap off the month and spend reflective, quiet time with your family. Walk the trails of the Wildlife Sanctuary with a guide to feed your mind and awaken your spirit. Price is  $6 – $10.

2. Beach Storytime & Craft

When: June 30, 11 am - 11:30 am

Where: Scotch Plains Public Library, 1927 Bartle Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 

Bring the little ones in this weekend for a beach-themed story time with craft activities after! Price is free, no registration.

3. Summit Summer Farmers Market

When: July 1, 8 am - 1 pm

Where: Park & Shop, Lot #2, at the corner DeForest Avenue and Maple Stree

Get out and take advantage of the good weather. Stock up on the freshest vegetables and fruits this weekend. Purchase some great finds on sale alongside your weekly pantry staples! No admission.

4. An Evening With Sarah Mclachlan

When: Jun 30, 8 pm

Where: Mayo Performing Arts Center, 100 South Street, Morristown, NJ 07960

Spend a special evening listening to one of the most soothing voices ever. Treat yourself and a friend or two to an enchanting evening with Sarah McLachlan. Come in early for a couple of drinks before the lights are dimmed. Price is $85 - $150.

5. Traveling Farm

When: June 30, 10 am - 10:45 am

Where: Bridgewater Library, 1 Vogt Drive Bridgewater, NJ

The Quiver Farm makes it convenient for farm animal and pet lovers to enjoy and be around animals. It is a great time for discovery, learning and exploration so swing by the Bridgewater Library! 

6. Game Central

When: June 30, 3 pm

Where: Hillsborough Municipal Complex, 379 South Branch Rd. Hillsborough

Calling all high school gamers! Come and join this weekend's gaming event at the Hillsborough Library and test your savvy in the game!

7. Open Studio / Walk In 

When: June 30, 10 am - 1 pm

Where: Kick Glass Art Studio, 536 South Ave, East, Cranford

Learn the wondrous and fascinating art of working your art on glass. Walk in Saturday sessions are now open and there will be on-site instructors as well as materials you will need to start your new hobby! For inquiries please call  (908) 931-9200 for details.

8. Introductory Horseback Ride

When: July 1, 2018

Where: Lord Stirling Stables, 256 S Maple Ave, Basking Ridge

Sign up for an introductory course on the riding techniques, English style this weekend, and start off your new hobby of getting into the spirit of riding!

9. Half Time

When: June 30, 2018

Where: Paper Mill Playhouse, 22 Brookside Drive, Millburn, NJ 07041

This is an uplifting true story of ten everyday-people who dream big. Be part of this amazing journey with a tasty twist! 

10. What's in Bloom? Native Plant Walk

When: July 1, 2018 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Where: Duke Farms 1112 Dukes Pkwy W Hillsborough, NJ 08844 United States

Duke Farms is home to many species of plants that are native to New Jersey. Join Visitor Education Assistants, Shannon Farrell, and Abby Schmid, and discover the wildflowers that are currently in bloom.

11. Artist of the Month Exhibition: Janet Rockware

When: July 1 to 30, 2018 - 5:00 pm

Where: 30 West Main St, Somerville, NJ 08876

Gallery on Main's "Artist of the Month" series continues with an exhibition of works by Annandale, New Jersey-based artist Janet Rockware, on view July 1 through 30. Admission is free, and the artist's works are available for purchase.
