3. The Garden State Comic Fest

Come out for New Jersey's Coolest Comic-Con and meet up with the artists and players who bring these characters to life. Come in your best costumes and join the spectacle! The kids are for free under 11 years old.

4. Free Saturday Tour

When: July 7, 10:30 am and 1:30 pm

Where: Reeves-Reed Arboretum, 165 Hobart Ave, Summit, NJ 07901

This weekend is a perfect time to go on a guided walk at the Arboretum. It will not only give you a much-needed stretch, it will also give you and your family a chance to do something uniquely different and relaxing. 

5. Adult Crafting

6. Artist of the Month Exhibition: Janet Rockware

Gallery on Main's "Artist of the Month" series continues with an exhibition of works by Annandale, New Jersey-based artist Janet Rockware, on view July 1 through 30. Admission is free, and the artist's works are available for purchase.

7. Get In Toon - Comic Clubhouse

9. Home on The Range

Want to be savvier with Western-style horseback riding? Head out to Lord Stirling's Stables this weekend and learn more about this method. Price is $40/residents - $50/nn-residents

10. Blueberry Muffin Contest at the Summit Farmer's Market

Got a good old family recipe for the best Blueberry Muffin? Head on over to the Summit Famer's Market this Sunday and join in on the Blueberry Muffin Contest to win Fun Money that can be spent at the market! Contestants should bring at least 6 muffins for the judging and the best muffin will be judged according to flavor, texture, and appearance. 

11. Wearable Art with Francesca Pelaggi

12. Duke Farms After Dark: Exploring Jupiter & Saturn

When: July 8, 2018, 7:30-9pm

Where: 1112 Dukes Parkway West Hillsborough, N.J. 08844

Acadia National Park’s own Ranger Bob Reichman will host the Duke Farms After Dark event geared towards grown-ups! He will start with a short story about preserving dark skies as a sustainable resource and will show a brief video about sensible lighting solutions. Get the chance to observe Jupiter and other nearby stellar objects through a PowerPoint and experience it real time outside under the night sky, including Jupiter, its Galilean Moons, and Saturn.
