5. Somerset Patriots 2017 Fan Fest

Kick off spring with a bang and welcome the upcoming season of baseball at FAN FEST. Meet and greet with baseball legend Sparky Lyle and Atlantic League Manager of the Year, Brett Jodie along with several players who'll be announced at the event. First 500 kids in attendance get a Somerset Patriots Hat. Enjoy a day of entertainment and activities for the whole family.

6. NJ Audubon: South Africa's Wildlife

Africa is a continent away brimming with a variety of animals and animal habitats of small and large creatures. Sit in for a lecture presented by Mike Newlon an NJA Associate Naturalist as he walks you through the trails he took on his trip to this magical land. Expand your horizons this weekend and enjoy a spectacular display to set your sights on.

7. The Barber of Seville presented by Light Opera of New Jersey

When: Apr 8, 8:00 pm

Gioachino Rossini’s beloved and classic comic opera The Barber of Seville will be staged and sung in English with Jamie Baer Peterson will direct the spectacle with Robert Butts conducting the members of the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of New Jersey.

9. Sue Maskaleris and Pablo Aslan present Two to Tango

Sue Maskaleris, Short Hills native and prided talent, graces the Millburn Library this Sunday in another smashing South Amercian musical program that will leave breathless. Along with Grammy-nominated bassist Pablo Aslan, be taken on a musical ride that will make you want to bust a move.

10. Canticles for Life

When: Apr 9, 4:00 pm

Where: 1350 Washington Valley Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807

Featuring the 26-voice Triad Vocal Ensemble and the Dan Crisci Jazz Trio, Canticles of Life will be performing a mix of styles including Broadway and anthem as well as several select instrumental pieces. This concert benefits 3 charities in NJ focused on AIDS. Admission is free and you can find more details
