1. Watchung Hills Regional High School Presents JM Barrie's Peter Pan

When: November 19th, 2016, 2pm matinee & 7pm

Where: Watchung Hills Performing Arts Center 

Join the students of Watchung Hills Regional High School for the Script and Cue Fall Production of JM Barrie's Peter Pan! Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for children.

2. NJ Audubon: Nature Infused Yoga Fall Series

When: Nov 19, 2016 at 9:30am

Where: Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary, 11 Hardscrabble Road Bernardsville, NJ 07924

Yoga is an ancient practice not only meant to strengthen and develop flexibility, but it has also proven to help one reconnect with self and nature! Relieve yourself of the tension and stress that came along with the past week and place yourself in a serene circle of calm headed by Kristin Mylecraine, Yoga Teacher and NJ Audubon Senior Research Scientist. $15 for non-members and $10 for members will be charged for the 75-minute session.

3. Thanksgiving Floral Arrangement Class

Where: Park Commission Headquarters in Bridgewater

Learn how to create a long-lasting holiday centerpiece with the season's fruits, vegetables and  harvest flowers at the Park Commission Headquarters in Bridgewater. There will be skilled on-site staff to give tips and hands-on assistance as they help you design and balance your holiday masterpiece. For details and registration call 732 873-2459 ext. 21.

4. NJ Audubon: Digital Photography 3 - Photo Boot Camp

When: Nov 19, 2016 at 10:00am 

Where: Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary, 11 Hardscrabble Road Bernardsville, NJ 07924

Shutterbug alert! Grab your cameras and bring them along with your passion for photography to Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary. Here you will be able to practice angle and lighting on flowers. Photographers will learn how to compensate for different lighting conditions as well as changing camera settings. It will be a morning of light and color that will be a shame to miss. 5. Saturday Morning Dog Walks at Lord Stirling Stable

When: Nov 19, 2016 at 10:15am (Paid Event)

Where: Lord Stirling Stable, 256 South Maple Avenue Basking Ridge, NJ 07920

Don't pass up the opportunity to stretch out and enjoy a little R&R with your furry friend at the breathtaking equestrian trails at Lord Stirling Stables. Remember to bring your buddy's leash and $3 to register. Registration of your faithful companion begins at 10:15 and the hour-long walk starts at 10:30

6. Singer/Songwriter Chip Mergott

When: Nov 19, 2016 at 1:30pm

Where: Watchung Arts Center, 18 Stirling Road Watchung, NJ 07069

Watchung Arts Center presents a former resident of Watchung and a member of Central Jersey’s “Bittersweet”, Chip Mergott. He also founded Notebook Records and is now promoting his 18th release. You can hear him on WDVR, WPRB. Listen to his “Mergott Music Minute” as it entertains weekly in The Bucks County Herald.

7. The Life of Thomas Payne

When: Nov. 19, 2016, 3 p.m.

Where: Bernardsville Library, Bernardsville, NJ

Revisit the life, works, and influence of Thomas Payne, a man forgotten by many and misunderstood by more. The afternoon will begin with an entertainingly informative video about his life and works. Sit and listen to a discussion by Michael Rockland from Rutgers University as he talks about the importance of Paynes' role during the American Revolution. Admission is free but does prior registration at


8. Legwork for Lungs 5K Run and Mile Walk

When: Nov 20, 2016 at 10:00am

Where: Mountain Park, Basking Ridge, NJ, 2 Mountain Rd Basking Ridge, NJ 07920

The third-annual Legwork for Lungs 5k and Mile Walk is an event held to raise funds for lung cancer research. Conceptualized by the high school students of Basking Ridge, this event promises a day of fun and, importantly, awareness. There will be shirts for participants as well as goody bags and refreshments. Medals shall be awarded to the top three finishers in the 10-year-old age group.

9. Chinese American Music Ensemble at New Providence Memorial Library - A Free Concert

When: Nov 20, 2016 at 2:00pm

Where: New Providence Memorial Library, 377 Elkwood Ave. New Providence, NJ 07974

Be serenaded by the Chinese American Music Ensemble at the New Providence Library.  Enjoy a musical trip to the Orient as the adult and children's choruses sing from pop to folk and a selection of Peking Opera. This free event is open to the family and all cultural and music enthusiasts. 

10. Sundays in Motion - Fun Activities for Families of Diverse Abilities

When: Nov 20, 2016 at 2:00pm (Free Event)

Where: Summit YMCA, 67 Maple St Summit, NJ 07901

Families with children living with autism are invited to join the passionate volunteers of the Summit YMCA on Sunday. Enjoy a day of open sensory activities, games, and swimming. Volunteers will monitor and guide the hour-long gym time followed by an hour in the pool. Bring your suits!

11. End of Sailing Season Party - The Sailing Club, Inc.

When: Nov 20, 2016 at 6:00pm (Free Event)

When: The Hills Highland Clubhouse, 75 Hansom Basking Ridge, NJ 07920

Test your sea legs on land and be counted as the Sailing Club closes the season with an evening of pleasant company, food, and stories of past sails. This yearly event is organized by the non-profit, volunteer group who welcomes all those who share the same passion for cutting through the water.
