Home to many parks, one of Scotch Plains residents’ favorite parks is Ponderosa Park for its amazing playground and sprinkler area.

There are several more parks in Scotch Plains, including Brookside Park, Crestwood Wildlife Sanctuary, Greenside Playground, Jerseyland Park, Kramer Manor Park, Southside Ballfield, Rt. 22 Field, and County Vo-Tech.
Known for being “New Jersey’s Favorite Family Amusement Park,” the Bowcraft Amusement Park has tons of rides suitable for kids and families, and is a great place to host a birthday party.

Frazee House offers the opportunity to explore some of Scotch Plains’ rich history! Over 230 years old, the Frazee house dates back to Revolutionary War times. Here, you can also find the newly opened Scotch Plains Fanwood Community Garden.
